About the Tibetan Mastiff
An ancient breed from the Himalayan region, historically used by nomadic herders and monasteries to guard livestock and property against predators. Massive and heavily coated, with a thick double coat, a mane-like ruff, and a solemn, imposing expression.
Temperament
Independent, watchful, and protective, the Tibetan Mastiff is a natural guardian that tends to be aloof with strangers and reserved even with people it does not consider part of its family.
