About the Anatolian Shepherd
An ancient Turkish breed developed over thousands of years to guard livestock independently against wolves and other predators. Large and powerfully built, with a short-to-medium double coat suited to withstand extreme temperature swings.
Temperament
Independent, watchful, and loyal, the Anatolian Shepherd is bred to think for itself while guarding a flock, making it reserved with strangers and less biddable than companion-bred breeds.

Grooming needs
