About the Pembroke Welsh Corgi
An ancient Welsh herding breed, historically used to herd cattle by nipping at their heels, small enough to dodge kicks in the process. Long-bodied and short-legged, with a medium double coat and, classically, a naturally short or docked tail.

Smart, alert, and affectionate, the Pembroke Welsh Corgi is a lively herding dog that remains devoted to its family and often gets along well with children.

Grooming needs
The medium double coat sheds heavily, especially during seasonal blowouts, and needs brushing two to three times a week to manage loose hair.
