About the French Bulldog
Developed in England from small 'toy' Bulldogs, then refined further by French lace workers who carried the breed to France in the 19th century, where its now-signature bat ears became standard. Compact and muscular, with a short, smooth coat and a flat, wrinkled face.

Playful, affectionate, and adaptable, the French Bulldog is a low-energy companion that thrives on attention and is well suited to apartment living.
