About the Standard Schnauzer
Developed in Germany as an all-purpose farm dog used for herding, ratting, and guarding, and considered the parent breed to both the Giant and Miniature Schnauzers. Medium-sized and square-proportioned, with a wiry double coat, bushy eyebrows, and a distinctive beard.
