About the Labrador Retriever
Developed in Newfoundland, Canada, originally to help fishermen retrieve nets and catch fish, before being refined in England into today's retriever. Athletic and well balanced, with a short, dense, water-resistant double coat in yellow, black, or chocolate.
Temperament
Friendly, outgoing, and eager to please, the Labrador Retriever is one of the most popular family dogs, known for its gentle nature with children and easy trainability.
