About the Shih Tzu
Developed in Tibet and refined within the Chinese imperial court, believed to descend from crosses between Lhasa Apso and Pekingese-type dogs. Small and sturdy, with a long, flowing double coat, a short muzzle, and large, round eyes.
Temperament
Affectionate, outgoing, and friendly, the Shih Tzu was bred purely as a companion and generally enjoys attention from everyone it meets.

Grooming needs
