About the Rottweiler
Descended from Roman drover dogs used to herd cattle, later refined in the German town of Rottweil for droving and cart-pulling work. Large and powerfully built, with a short, dense black-and-tan coat.
Temperament
Confident, calm, and protective, the Rottweiler is a devoted family guardian that is generally aloof with strangers but affectionate and loyal at home.
