About the Boston Terrier
Developed in Boston, Massachusetts in the late 19th century from crosses between English Bulldogs and English Terriers, making it one of the few breeds developed in the United States. Compact and muscular, with a short, smooth coat, a flat face, and a distinctive tuxedo-like marking.

Friendly, lively, and eager to please, the Boston Terrier is well suited to families and adapts readily to apartment living.
